Hello Smith/Herring/Stewart Family,
When we think of "Family" most will consider a biological or blood connection. However, sometimes you can have a "family" connection with someone who shares a vast amount of memories and experiences throughout our lives. We are fortunate to have Alec Richardson as our Smith/Herring/Stewart Family blog contributor for November to share his unique perspective on "What Makes A Loving Family"... Please sign-up to join our blog community and feel free to post your comments or thoughts to our monthly blogs. They're truly wonderful and encouraging to read. Enjoy, sib "wallace, jr."
"We Are Family" was a huge hit back in the 1970's by the R&B Group, Sister Sledge. Almost EVERYONE can sing the chorus... If you don't know this tune you can checkout the music link below. What was immortalized in song was already in stone eons before.
Family is who we are, and we show it in many ways. Family makes us laugh, makes us cry, but it is who we are. You can be born in or join in, but the bonds we share today are unbreakable. To say "I love you" to family is saying "I can't live without you." It means I'm nothing without you.
Family can dismiss you and will be the first to accept you. We are talented, flawed, incorrigible, distant or close, but we are always reachable.
It is the synonym for love that we use daily, FAMILY...
I will be seeking revenge on the person who posted this retro pic! (Sib)
